We managed to wrangle up few people that were involved with the first BANDWAGON live show at The Bateau Bay Hotel.

This week we actually talked a lot about music for a change!

The band are releasing an EP very soon (they didn't give us a date) which will be available from all their social media links FOR FREEEEEE!

At the end of the episode we dropped their track Bad Trip off which is off said EP along with a song they recorded live in the Remedial Cave called Beer and Video Games.

We rambled on about other subjects such as political correctness, feminism and Charles's neighbor problems.

We also announced that we will be putting on the first Remedial Radio LIVE show on the 29th of October @ Long Jetty Hotel!!! We'll put up more details on our social media links when we figure them out.

Trouble In Paradise

Trouble in Paradise are a 3 piece rock band hailing from the central coast, Australia.

This is the first episode in a few weeks that we can actually remember the end of.... that's a good thing.... I think...

This week we toned it down on the booze and actually talked music.

We were joined by Blake Wares (The Radics) and Kalun Townsend.

Blake and Kalun have been working on a new project which we discussed in the episode.

We talked music, gigs, the future of The Radics, future endeavors, audio engineering, Blakes studio, bands that he has worked with, feminists and titties.

The Radics

The Radics are a dream rock/pop band from the Central Coast Australia. You can find their debut EP 'Slow Down' on iTunes and various other online media. 

Kalun Townsend

Kalun Townsend is a 19 year old singer songwriter based on the Central Coast. Kalun got his start in music whilst in school where he started performing for school events. Known for constantly frustrating his music teacher with his reluctance to learn to read music, he built his skills up through a mix of lessons and learning by ear through trial and error whilst hiding away in his bedroom. He started experimenting with a range of instruments while playing in a band with his friends where they made it to the finals of a popular Brisbane radio station's, Nova - Battle of the Bands. Once in high school he continued to expand his skills, experimenting with a variety of writing styles.

Since finishing school Kalun has made music his sole focus and is continuing to grow his skills in production, writing ,and performing. Now studying Sound Production under Dexter Moore at The Grove Studios, Kalun has thrown himself into making his sound and refining his art.

Currently based on the Central Coast, Kalun Townsend is becoming a household name in the local Indie music scene. Working with fellow student, and good friend, Blake Wares, The two produced Kalun’s debut EP “Lessons” which gained a lot

We caught the guys from Hotel Satisfaction live at Mingara.

We talked to some of the guys in the band during their mid-set break. We caught up with the rest of the band after they had finished for the night.

We played a drinking game called Aussie Slanguage, where someone reads a piece of aussie slang and we all have to figure out what it means. If you don't know what it means you have to drink... If you do know what it means you get to have a celebratory drink. Needless to say things got messy.

Lint tried to prank his brother by ringing him and telling him that he was gay. His reaction was rather suprising.

We talked to Matty D (The Shaykes) and his mates Jacob and Brenan as they sat in their hotel room in Tamworth NSW.

The trio had spent the last few days road tripping through country NSW.

They told us tales of the infamous Cactus World, trying to play cricket on the dish at Parkes and they sampled emu jerky live on the podcast.

After having a few weeks off Remedial Radio is back and we're drunker than ever!!

We had a good Sunday arvo chat with Matty Saturn from The Radics.

After a super busy 2015 the guys have decided to take a bit of a break.

We talked about music, gear, recording, touring and everything else that goes with playing in a rock band.

The Radics

The Radics, founded on the Central Coast, NSW Australia in late 2012 by brothers, Matty Saturn and Blake Wares. The brothers performed music of their favourite artists on acoustic guitars at local venues.

In early 2013 the brothers were joined by thundering drummer Joel Martin and smooth bass player Dean Kutt, with the common goal of writing and performing original tracks in addition to putting their unique spin on such classics such as ‘Another Brick In The Wall’ and ‘Superstition.’ The band found their sound in late 1960’s and early 1970’s style Rhythm & Blues and Alternative Rock, while adding their own unique sound and modern vibe to their music.
