Maddie and Danny are just barely back as they sit down to record after a big night out. Danny is losing his voice and Maddie turns into a sassy old woman. But this was still such a silly and fun one!
We dive into more recent nostalgia, talking about just over 10 years ago when the internet was a very different place. Internet challenges, memes, viral trends, the works. We also segue into the topic of movie marathons which were very "educational" for Danny and a very different experience for Maddie.
Also, In The Weeds returns and Maddie shares her Groundhog Day like friend from Westfield.
This one is silly, random and a lot of fun!

In our 40th episode, we’re mixing things up with a new format!
We give an update on where Danny's, Johnson & Friends documentary is at, A brand new segment called Nostalgia News where we chat about:
Usher cancelling his Aussie tour
The 90s/00s acts we’d drop everything to see
And the return of the iconic Tropfest short film festival 🎥
If you're into 90s and 2000s Australian nostalgia, this is a great one to jump in on. And if you like the pod, please rate us 5 stars — it seriously helps more people find it!
This week, we dig into the questionable origins of Danny's music taste. From wild Christian music festivals as a teenager to his mum refusing to buy him the Blink 182 album (thanks to that infamous sexy nurse cover), it’s a journey. He shares his deep love for The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy, the terror of his brothers blasting Nine Inch Nails through the house (even though he secretly loves them now), and The Offspring soundtracking every road trip.
But it gets worse… Danny confesses to Maddie that, yes, he was that guy — hooning around the suburbs, windows down, blasting Nick Skitz Megamixes from his upgraded car sound system. Is it a dealbreaker? Maddie’s not sure.
Plus, how his love of A Tribe Called Quest absolutely killed the vibe at a party.
