Chancellor Cartwright talks with Miriam Barquero-Molina, the director of the Geology Field Program and assistant teaching professor in the Department of Geological Sciences, and Kimberly Moore, a doctoral student in the Department of Geological Sciences. They discuss the geological distinctions of our campus and our state, as well as why studying the ancient foundations of our planet can help us better understand our collective future.

Chancellor Cartwright talks with two Missouri Students Association (MSA)leaders: President Jennifer Sutterer, a senior double majoring in political science and philosophy; and Senate Speaker Jacob Addington, a senior majoring in journalism. They discuss the ins and outs of the legislative process as well as the many unique ways MSA contributes to life at Mizzou.

Chancellor Cartwright talks with Linda Godwin, a former NASA astronaut and retired professor of physics and astronomy, and Jordyn Lucas, a PhD student in biochemistry. Jordyn also works in Professor Donald Burke-Agüero’s laboratory as part of a NASA-funded project that uses ribonucleic acid (RNA) to explore the origins of life. They discuss our community’s rich contributions to space discovery, as well as the many ways we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible across the universe.

Chancellor Cartwright talks to Jay Sexton, professor of history and the Kinder Endowed Chair in Constitutional Democracy, and Faramola Shonekan, a senior McNair Scholar and history major who completed the University of Oxford Global History course last year as a 2018 Kinder Institute scholar. They discuss the many other ways Mizzou’s global reach shapes our community’s education and impact.

Chancellor Cartwright talks with Nick Britton, director of facility operations for Mizzou Athletics, and Ben Goodman, a master’s student in educational, school and counseling psychology, who is the event operation director for Mizzou Athletics. They discuss some of the unexpected steps to prepare our facilities for game day, and how students and staff help ensure student success on and off the field and courts.
