In this episode of the Removing Barriers podcast, we interview Tony, who experienced barriers to salvation in a very free upbringing, as opposed to a rigid one. God overcame those barriers to save his soul, and he joins us in this broadcast to testify to God's goodness and mercy. Barriers to salvation are erected in all kinds of seemingly contradicting ways and situations: in knowledge, in ignorance, in wealth, in poverty, in debauchery, in piety. No matter what the barrier, God is more than able to save!

Meanwhile, the elite class are spending exorbitant amounts of money on debauchery and all manner of illegal activity (not new, but to what degree is increasingly shocking) while the Methodist church is abandoning the terms "husband" and "wife" in an effort to appeal to the lost. This world has gone bonkers, but we can talk about it with a hopeful eye toward the future because the Lord Jesus Christ is still on the throne.

Pastor Harrigan was born and raised in Haiti, a small Caribbean country in the Western Hemisphere with an equally inspiring and troubling history. In recent decades, the country has taken a marked turn for the worse, but in spite of this, God continues to remove barriers and save souls. Pastor Harrigan, being one of those souls, now labors faithfully to see barriers like those he faced removed so that others can have a clear view of the cross. The Marine Corps has a scholarship and professional military education program that teaches participants how to implement feminist and DEI values in the upper echelons of decision-making and warfighting. Judges impose rulings to either murder babies or deny the pursuit of potentially life-extending medicine for terminally ill babies. Various outbreaks in select countries evoke fear of another round of draconian government responses as we recently experienced during COVID-19. Join us on this episode as we discuss these headlines, realizing that though this world is indeed bonkers, there is no reason for Christians to fear because the king's heart is in our God's hand.
