In this episode of the Removing Barriers podcast, we discuss a TikTok video which claims that if Christians were consistent, they would realize that Eve was transgender because she was made from Adam's rib and had male DNA. We will open the scriptures and see what the Bible has to say about this and how even in this dark and terrible confusion, the cross and gospel of Christ shines all the more brightly with the answers we need to know who God is, what He has done, and who we are before Him.

Or that over three years after the domestic terrorism Black Lives Matter unleashed on the country, some people are only NOW realizing how much of a scam the movement is? What about a 22 year old woman who hated the idea of showering so much that she stabbed her grandfather in the face when he encouraged her to go take a shower? It seems that whenever there is an interaction between a white police officer and a black person, the question of race and/or police brutality inevitably comes up. In some instances, it is the first thing that comes up. Should this be the case in our society? On August 24, 2023, a 21-year old woman named Ta'Kiya Young was shot and killed by police after having been accused of shoplifting liquor from a local grocery store. What makes this story noteworthy by today's standards is that she was black, unarmed, and pregnant at the time of her interaction with the police and subsequent death. Was the shooting racially motivated? Did the officer have the legal or moral grounds to open fire? What about her family and protestors who insist the officer be indicted and brought to justice swiftly? Perhaps more so now than any point in our lives, we come across something that evokes deep consternation or shock, and it brings us to a sobering resignation that this world has gone bonkers. We are starting a new series to document those very things that we've encountered at RBP. It may be something old, or perhaps it's fresh off the presses... but one thing is for sure: it's absolutely bonkers! Far be it from us to bring these up to encourage pessimism, however. Rather, our desire is to remind the believer that this world is not our home, and the time we have to win the lost is short. Join us as we begin this series, and feel free to share something you encountered that reminds you this world has gone bonkers!
