Help Is On The Way - Judges | Samson | Pastor Chris Heller
Judges 13
As Judges 13 begins, Israel continues in the same old rebel cycle and finds themselves in trouble once again. But this time, before they even cry out for help, God is already at work. He announces the birth of an unlikely deliverer named Samson, a man set apart for a special purpose before he is even born.
As we look at Samson’s story over the next few weeks, we will see incredible strength, surprising choices, and plenty of rebellion—but behind it all is the faithfulness of a God who refuses to give up on His people.

Judges 11-12
This Sunday in our Help Is On the Way series, we’ll be looking at Judges 11-12 and the tragic story of Jephthah.
Israel is once again caught in their familiar cycle of turning away from God, experiencing the consequences, and crying out for help. After years of this rebellion, it would seem reasonable for God to say, “Enough!” Yet, He responds with mercy, raising up Jephthah to rescue His people. Unfortunately, while securing victory for Israel, Jephthah makes a reckless vow with devastating consequences.
Join us as we consider Jephthah’s story and discover what it reveals about the incredible patience and faithful love of a God who continues to reach for His people, even when they wander.

Help Is On The Way - Judges | Gideon’s Chosen 300 | Pastor Chris Heller
This Sunday we’ll observe Gideon as he carefully carries out God’s instructions for overcoming the Midianites. In spite of his fear and insecurities, he obediently gathers the unlikely battle weapons — trumpets, jars and torches — and distributes them to his meager army of 300 men.
For most people, this sounds like a recipe for certain disaster. But Gideon’s faith is growing, and he has learned that God can be trusted to do what He promised.
Join us this week as we see the incredible things God accomplishes through those who simply trust and obey Him.

Help Is On The Way - Judges | Do You Trust Me? | Pastor Chris Heller
This sermon explores the story of Gideon from the book of Judges, examining how God works through weak faith to accomplish His purposes. The central message focuses on God's non-negotiable requirement that all idols must come down before freedom can be found. Through Gideon's story, we address the "rebel cycle" of sin, consequences, repentance, rescue, restoration, and relapse that characterizes the book of Judges. We are challenged to identify modern-day idols—anything we claim as "my" (my freedom, my identity, my safety, my comfort, my future)—and surrender them to God. The sermon emphasizes that compromise gradually allows what should never be allowed, destroys what should never be destroyed, and threatens who should never be threatened. Despite Gideon's weak faith and repeated requests for confirmation (the fleece test), God remained patient and faithful, demonstrating that divine assurance is more important than self-assurance. The message concludes with an invitation to trust God completely, allowing Him to transform what we once used for ourselves into instruments for His purposes.

Help Is On The Way - Judges | Gideon | Pastor Chris Heller
Judges 6-8
Have you ever felt like you weren't the right person for the job? Gideon certainly did. When God called him, he was full of questions, doubts, and reasons why someone else would be a better choice. But God wasn't looking for someone who had it all together—He was looking for someone willing to trust Him, one step at a time.
Join us this Sunday as we continue our Help Is On the Way series and follow Gideon's incredible journey in Judges 6–8. We'll see how God turned an unlikely man into a courageous leader and reminded His people that the greatest victories come when we depend on Him instead of ourselves.

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States this Independence Day weekend, we'll also reflect on God's faithful hand throughout history and our ongoing need to depend on Him today.
We hope you'll join us for this meaningful weekend of worship as we celebrate God's faithfulness—past, present, and forever.
Help Is On The Way - Judges | Intro | Pastor Chris Heller
This Sunday, we're excited to begin a brand new sermon series, Help Is On the Way. As a follow-up to our journey through Hebrews, we'll take a closer look at four of the judges mentioned in Hebrews 11:32—men whose remarkable stories of faith were only briefly referenced because, as the writer says, there simply "wasn't enough time" to tell them all.
Throughout this series, we'll open the book of Judges to discover the powerful accounts of these men and see how God worked through ordinary, imperfect people to accomplish extraordinary things. Their stories are filled with challenge, hope, and timely reminders that God's help is never far away.

Ripple Effect | Part 2 | Pastor Jon Adams
Last week, Jason shared part one of a mini sermon series we’re calling The Ripple Effect. Through examining scripture’s missional call to the church, he shared the “why” of missions and God’s design for spreading the gospel message.
This Sunday, we’ll explore what factors impact us in our faith so that we, in turn, can have a positive influence on others. And we’ll identify some ways our impact can be hindered, or even completely stifled. We’ll also observe communion together in remembrance of Jesus’ death and resurrection on our behalf.
