In this series we will look at what the Bible actually says and attempt to make sense of it all. This week we looked at the famous parable of Jesus known as "The Rich Man and Lazarus" in Luke 16:19-31. The story contrasts a rich man who dies and is in anguish in Hades, and a poor and diseased man who dies and is comforted by Abraham. Week 9 of our series titled "Every Story Matters." This week we look at Luke chapter 7 where a woman with a questionable background and reputation crashes a dinner party that Jesus is attending. Much to the dismay of the party host, she expresses gratitude toward Jesus in an unusual manner. Jesus defends her actions and offers her forgiveness and a chance at a new life. "Whoever has been forgiven much loves much, and whoever has been forgiven little loves little."
