We all yearn for the day when God's will is fully present in our world – when corrupt people are no longer in control and hurting people are no longer neglected. But God's word foretells a time when the whole creation is restored. And when this happens, God won't be ruling alone. His people will rule alongside him...in righteousness, justice, and peace. This is God's politics.

We continue with our current series, Union With Christ. "To see the beauty of Jesus and follow after him."

One day, Jesus will return to consummate an eternal kingdom in which justice will roll down like waters, righteousness an ever flowing stream. He has left us, his servants, in the time in between – between his resurrection and his his final glorious appearing. And he's called us to faithfulness – faithfulness in advancing righteousness, faithfulness in lamenting sin and suffering, and, chiefly, faithfulness in loving one another.

Union with Christ is the most profound experience a person can have. It's made possible only by faith in Jesus and is made a reality in the believer's life by the power of the Holy Spirit.
