Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). If we love God, like Jesus told us to, we WILL respect His Holy Name and keep His commandments! Jesus is very clear that if we love Him, we would do what He tells us to do - because it leads to eternal life! So out of respect and love, will do it! Jesus taught His disciples HOW to pray in Matthew 6:9-13. He gave them a model prayer of what to pray for and how to pray. The Lord's prayer is NOT some magic incantation or prayer to memorize and repeat just for the sake of it, but a model. And the first thing He told us to pray, was this phrase: “Hallowed be thy name.”

📌 The word hallow means “to sanctify, to make holy.” The phrase literally means “Sanctify the name” or “Make holy the name.” It is a call for us to worship. Jesus was telling us to lift up the greatness of God’s Name in prayer. ONE THING YOU HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT OUR GOD, IS THAT HE WANTS HIS NAME TO BE LIFTED UP IN ALL OF THE EARTH! AMEN! The Bible says in Isaiah 52:14, that Jesus was unrecognizable as a human being hanging up there on the cross! Even more intense than the physical death of Jesus was the spiritual suffering He experienced 😢. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

Jesus carried the sin-weight of the entire world (1 John 2:2). It was the sin of the world that caused Jesus Christ to cry out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46). Jesus' physical suffering 😲 was brutal, but it was our sins that caused Him the most suffering.😭 SO LET'S GET INTO IT TODAY, BECAUSE ONCE WE HAVE A FULL UNDERSTANDING OF THE SUFFERING AND THE BRUTALITY OF JESUS' DEATH, IT SHOULD COMPEL US TO PUT THE SIN AWAY!

How that we should not focus on sin when trying to bring someone to Christ! THAT'S A HUGE PROBLEM! BECAUSE IT CAN'T BE DONE!There’s a word missing from the presentation of our modern Gospel. It’s the word REPENT! I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't we focus on the sin in a person's life when we are imploring with them to come to Christ to have their sins forgiven? I mean of course, once we're in the Body of Christ, sin no longer has mastery over us; sin should no longer be the focus in our lives, but the person who is still unrepentant, hadn't gotten that memo just yet! They still need to come to the cross! So we must focus on sin in terms of pleading to them that they must repent of those sins. The unpopular fact remains that the ungrateful and impenitent will not be saved (1 Cor. 6:9-10; Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:1-20; 1 John 3:14). The New Testament has nothing to say about building the Kingdom, but it does have 👉🏾everything to say about how we can enter into the Kingdom! The coming of the King is only good news for those who turn from sin and turn to God! Amen! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

You are going to want to join me as I, read, discuss, and commentate on the book of Colossians as we see that Christ Jesus is SUPREME and RULER OVERALL! The book of Colossians was written by Paul around AD 61 to the Christians in Colosse. Paul wrote this letter to defend the truth that Christ is truly God, and he encouraged the Believers to live confidently with God's power for help. While Paul was a prisoner in Rome, he wrote this letter to a city he never visited. He had come to know all these Believers while living in Ephesus on his second missionary journey. He was concerned because he had heard of some strange pagan thinking that was creeping into the church. The views that were troubling the Colossians were a mixture of astrology, magic, and judaism, which together downgraded Christ to being just some sort of angel. Paul writes to correct this error by showing that Christ is God and the full nature of God is in Him. Paul also included instruction on how to live the Christian life. SO YOU'RE NOT GONNA WANT TO MISS TODAY'S EPISODE!

So what is happening, is that we're having many people on social media telling people that you can keep on living in your drunkenness, your masturbation, your lust for power & recognition, your greed, your fornication and adultery! You can just go and do you - as long as you just believe on the Lord Jesus 🤦🏽‍♀️! This can't be further from the truth!

These false teachers and preachers are reprobates, they are counterfeiters my friend, they dilute the Word of God! You must understand, when you and I truly hear the gospel - the preaching of the Word of God, we should be walking away with something pressing upon us, where we look at our lives AND REPENT! The purpose of a preacher or teacher, is to get you ready to meet the Living God... UNLESS they have an AGENDA 🤔!

Through Jesus' death on the cross, He has purchased us (Acts 20:28), and it is only fair that we do what He says. We are children of God, and we are to do what He commands. Of course, we do not obey in order to be saved. Salvation comes first, and obedience should follow. But obedience goes deeper than duty. Obedience should come from the heart, done because we want to, not grudgingly, because we have to. So why should we want to obey?

Our Father sent the Lord Jesus Christ from Heaven to this sin-sick, dark, vile-laden of a world, to die for the sins of many. Jesus willingly laid down His life as a sacrifice to appease the Wrath of Holy God, whose people sinned continuously. Jesus took the punishment that was rightly due to us Because we didn't want to stop sinning! Listen we only get one shot at this life! And therefore we must make every moment count! And how we live this life, will determine what will happen once we drop this bodysuit. When Jesus calls us out of this bodysuit, what will be the audience you will have with him? And that is what I want to discuss today. I know that people don't want to hear about all the time, but then guess what? This is the ministry that Jesus has given me - repent, stop SINNING, and turn back to God! Also to highlight and identify the corruption and the apostasy that is going on in the 21st century church today! And what comes with all of that - is the false brethren! Who only wants to point out that you should stop preaching on this! They have a severe problem with teachings like mine! I can't begin to tell you how much time is devoted over there on Facebook aka the Lion's Den in defending the truth about what's in God's Word where sin is concerned! Not that the Word of God needs defending, because it stands on its own in absolute truth and absolute clarity! God and the Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit has made it known, that sin kills, it separates us from God and will send us straight to if we do not repent!

Ephesians 2:15 tells us that Jesus broke down the wall of hostility that separated the Jews and the Gentiles. He did this by ending the system of Law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in Himself one new people, together as one Body. Jesus reconciled both groups to God by means of His death on the cross and the hostility towards each other was put to death. NOW all of us can come together to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us. The Law of Moses was given to the children of Israel and not to the Gentiles - that includes us in the 21st century. Christ died a horrific death on the cross and nailed the written code that was against us, He took it out of the way, nailing it! Jesus blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us - which was contrary to us, it stood against us! He set it aside, He canceled the certificate of debt that was against us and He did this through His sacrificial death! We obey the Law of Christ - which is love! When we love God with our whole hearts, minds, souls and strength and when we love our neighbors as ourselves, all of the Law and the prophets now hang on those two commands. It is not the letter of the Law we follow, for those laws are now written on our hearts because of the love of Christ that He had for us when He willingly gave up His life for us!
