  • SHOULD CHRISTIANS KEEP THE LAW OF MOSES? – WHAT ABOUT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS?
Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker ☺️👑😊 **UPDATE: MY MISTAKE! I ERRONEOUSLY SAID THAT HAGAR WAS NOT ABRAHAM'S WIFE. WHEN IN FACT, SARAH GAVE HER MAID/SLAVE HAGAR TO ABRAHAM AS A WIFE. SHE WAS A CONCUBINE/WIFE. **Join me today as we take an exhaustive comprehensive look @ 👉🏾SHOULD CHRISTIANS KEEP THE LAW OF MOSES? – WHAT ABOUT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS? Do we as New Testament Born-Again Believers in Christ Jesus, have to, in fact, keep any of the 613 Laws of Moses? I'm reading from an article that gives us the backstory (after the resurrection of Christ Jesus) and the backdrop of the council at Jerusalem where Jewish leaders and the apostles met for a "pow wow" to discuss whether or not the new believers in Christ - the Gentiles - have to keep the law of Moses like the Jews had to keep it? That question is still on the floor today! I'm not going to reveal what the article said, you are going to have to tune in! Amen!

  • Our Blessed Hope: Why Jesus’ Resurrection Is So Important!
Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker 😊💥 Today we will be looking at why the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is so important to the believer in Christ Jesus. Jesus is the only person who has ever lived who has PERFECTLY kept God's law. Because He fulfilled the law, Jesus was able to become the perfect sacrifice for sin. Those who put their faith in Him are freed from the bondage of the 613 LAWS OF MOSES and have become God's children. THEREFORE, His resurrection gives us the hope that one day, our bodies will be resurrected and glorified as His! This is the "blessed hope" (Titus 2:12-13) we have - WE ARE AWAITING THE APPEARING OF OUR LORD JESUS! We are looking forward to the day where our corrupt lowly bodies will be resurrected, as Jesus has been resurrected, where we will receive the glorification of our bodies; from mortal to immortality! 👑 Why is the resurrection of Jesus Christ important? It proves who Jesus is. It demonstrates that God accepted Jesus’ sacrifice on our behalf. It shows that God has the power to raise us from the dead. It guarantees that the bodies of those who believe in Christ will not remain dead but will be resurrected unto eternal life. AMEN!!

  • 13 REASONS WHY WE MUST 🙅🏽‍♀️ STOP SINNING!
Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker ☺️👑😊 Join me today as we discuss why it is critical that we put away all sin that's so easily besets us! God is not playing where it comes to sin! A deep price was paid for us to be ransomed out of the kingdom of darkness! Our Father in heaven sent the Lord Jesus Christ to come to this world to die for the sins of many! And if we deliberately keep on sinning after coming to the knowledge of Truth, there is no more sacrifice for sins! What is there left for God to do with you? You're only expectation is of raging fire! That is why we looking at some of the reasons why we must stop sinning! SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD! 🚨 Jesus said that the world will be much the same before He returns to set up His earthly kingdom (Matthew 25:31–33). He warned us to “be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him. Amen! 🎯 Repent and believe and turn back to God!

  • THERE IS NO 🙅🏽‍♀️ MORE SACRIFICE FOR SINS!
Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker ☺️👑😊 Join me today as we discuss whether or not you can be a Christian and still be in your sins! There is a false doctrine called "Carnal Christianity," where one could claim and profess to be a Christian, but has not committed to live a holy life in Christ! We see that, according to Hebrews 10:26, “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left.” I will be breaking down this verse and pulling it apart to see what it really means! Because at the end of the day, either we are a saint or we ain't! Because after we have heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ along with its moral code, we are responsible for knowing it! From the severity of the language in this verse, the author intends to especially warn those who claim at some point to believe it and turn away from it; that there will be “no sacrifice for sins is left,”
Jesus was the last Lamb who was slain for the sins of the world. If we reject Him, there is left only our own accountability for our whole record of sin.
AND WE KNOW WHERE THAT WILL LEAD US 👉🏾 RIGHT STRAIGHT TO THAT LAKE OF FIRE!

  • THE MOCKERY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AT THE CROSS! 😠🧐
Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker ☺️👑😊 Join me today as we discuss, "What Does It Mean To Mock God?" 🤷‍♀‍🤷‍♀‍I do know Scriptures testify to the fact that God is not mocked, meaning, “Don’t fool yourselves, whatever you sow, that’s what you’ll reap! I take a look at Matthew 27 and 28 to see the mockery of the Lord Jesus Christ's, death, burial and resurrection. To mock God is to disrespect, dishonor, or ignore Him. It is a serious offense committed by those who have no fear of God or who deny His existence. The most easily recognized form of mockery is disrespect typified by verbal insults or other acts of disdain. It is associated with ridicule, scoffing, and defiance. Mockery is a dishonoring attitude that shows low estimation, contempt, or even open hostility. The point of today's lesson, is that this is what mocking God looks like. That’s what it means to mock God, either at the cross, or today, 2,000 years after the cross. People are still mocking the cross, and mocking Christ in the process.

  • To Get Back What 😌 Was Lost in Paradise Through Christ Jesus! 👑👑
Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker ☺️👑😊 Join me today as we discuss: What was lost in the Garden of Eden and how the fellowship with our Father in Heaven was mended. It was amended through Jesus' sacrifice, on our behalf, on the cross. His vicarious atonement reconciled us back to the Father because it was sinful man that damaged their relationship with their holy God! Someone had to pay the price for sin, and we could have NOT have paid that price! Nothing we could have done would have appeased God's wrath on us! We were sinful and rebellious! We racked up and stacked up the charges that were rightly leveled against us, because we didn't know how to stop sinning 🥺! But glory be to God, Jesus stepped in as the Mediator, between God and man, and laid down His life for His friends! No greater love hath a man, who lay down his life for his friends 😔! Jesus' vicarious atonement is the idea that He took the place of mankind on the cross; suffering the penalty for sin. Atonement is a term meaning “reconciliation” or “amends.” Vicarious means “done in place of or instead of someone else.” So, in literal terms, the Christian concept of “vicarious atonement” is that Jesus was substituted for humanity and punished for our faults in order to pay for the sins we had committed and reconcile us to God. 🥰 For more sound Bible teaching, let us tune in to my good sister in Christ podcast, "Bible Coffee Talk - with Ally Benfield" here on Anchor!

  • 💥 THE GREAT EXCHANGE: Jesus Took Our Place! 😔
Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker ☺️👑😊 Join me today as we discuss "What does it mean that Jesus took our place?" 🤔 On the cross, Jesus took the punishment we deserved for our sin. He did not deserve to die, but He willingly took our place and experienced death for us. Jesus’ death was a substitution, “the righteous for the unrighteous” (1 Peter 3:18), the innocent for the guilty, the perfect for the corrupt. In order for us to be saved, Jesus had to take our place and die for sin. He had to lay down His life as a sacrifice, because “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” (Hebrews 9:22). His sacrifice was perfect in holiness, in worth, and in power to save. After His resurrection, Jesus showed His scars to the apostles (John 20:26–27). As long as our salvation lasts (forever), the marks of our Savior’s suffering will be visible (Revelation 5:6)—an eternal reminder that He took our place.

  • 🚨⚠️ False Teaching Alert: Twisting Scripture - ”For by his wounds you were healed.”
Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker 😊💥 Please join me today we are going to talk about how wolves in sheep's clothing, aka, charlatans twist Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24 into healing Scriptures🤦🏽‍♀️! This is what Isaiah 53:5 says: "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed." (KJV) And this is what 1 Peter 2:24 says, "And He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed." 1 Peter 2:24 (ESV). 📌 Although these verses are central to the topic of healing, they are often TWISTED FOR PROFIT💰THROUGH THE FALSE PROSPERITY/ WORD OF FAITH-HEALING MOVEMENT! They are misunderstood and misapplied. The word “healed” as translated from both Hebrew and Greek, can mean either spiritual or physical healing. However, the contexts of Isaiah 53 and 1 Peter 2, make it clear that they are referring to SPIRITUAL healing, not🙅🏽‍♀️physical. “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed” (1 Peter 2:24). The verse is referring to SIN and RIGHTEOUSNESS, not🙅🏽‍♀️sickness and disease. Therefore, being “healed” in both these verses is speaking of being FORGIVEN and SAVED, not being physically healed🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️.

  • 🔥 WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AND THE LAKE OF FIRE: We All Must Choose either Life or Death!
Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker ☺️👑😊 Join me today as we discuss and the Lake of Fire. The choice we make on this Earth while we are still alive, will determine where we will spend all of eternity! God gives us the choice of LIFE or DEATH in Deuteronomy 30:19-20 - "19 Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! 20 You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” WE MUSH CHOOSE LIFE! 💥 The Second Death
It would seem to die once is enough for any one of us, yet Scripture teaches, "It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27). 😓
It is at the Great White Throne Judgment, does the fate of all who ever lived is DECIDED! A time where the sea will give up the dead and all who were in , and those from their grave (death), will ALL be judged according to their works done upon the earth as they lived.
🔥 Those who were not found written in the book of life will then be cast into the lake of fire which is the second death (see Revelation 20:11-15). This sure paints a picture of the final end!
Does Scripture tell us if there is a way to avoid what is known as the second death 🤔? THANKFULLY it does give us insight and we find our answer in the book of Revelation. It is by being overcomers in this life through Christ’s shed blood, do we have the power - the second death will have no power over us for He has conquered death!

  • 😔 Jesus was marred beyond recognition for you! Jesus died a horrific death for the sins of many!😭
Follow me on Facebook under AuntCynthia Whitaker 😊💥 The book of Isaiah in chapter 52 (and not 58, as I mistakenly quoted in this episode), verse 14, talks about that many were amazed when they saw Jesus up there dying on the Cross. His face was so disfigured, He seemed hardly human, and from His appearance, one would scarcely know He was a man! The Bible is saying that Jesus looked unrecognizable as a human being dying up there on the Cross! That was due to the severe and horrific beating and suffering that Jesus endured on our behalf - by taking on our sins and the punishment of Holy God! Jesus took our punishment that was rightly due to us, because we didn't know how to stop sinning by breaking God's laws! Jesus' sacrifice appeased God's anger towards mankind, and through His shed blood, we have been reconciled back to the Father through His atonement! And what should be our response to all of that? It is to repent and believe that Christ Jesus died for our sins! And in gratitude for His finished work at the Cross, we should live our lives producing fruit in keeping with repentance! We must put away the sin and lay it down! No longer can we justify it, no longer can we make any excuses for it, we must forsake it and never to return back to it! Jesus paid a huge steep price to ransom us back from the kingdom of Satan! Christ Our Lord willingly laid down his life for us! By faith in Him, our flesh has been crucified and we no longer live, because Christ lives in us! AMEN!
