Today's Woman: Beautiful Since the Beginning with Guest Anne Montgomery | Season 2 Episode 34
“The more they said no, the more I said yes I can.”
Faced with what seemed like a line of no's, Anne Montgomery said yes to herself - yourself to her future and yes to being an example of what's possible
Anne Butler Montgomery has worked as a television sportscaster, newspaper and magazine writer, teacher, author, and amateur sports official for over four decades. From ESPN to anchoring the Emmy and ACE award-winning SportsCenter, Anne finished her on-camera broadcasting career with a two-year stint as the studio host for the NBA’s Phoenix Suns. She went on to teach journalism and mass communication at the high school and collegiate level.
In a time where she was constantly told what she couldn’t do because she was a woman, she not only did everything she set out to do – she continued to master her craft and deepen her knowledge of the industry she loved.
This a conversation of grit, determination, and challenging the standard of what’s “acceptable.”

It’s not only what the person is saying, but how that look and act when they are saying it.
