For Chris + Julie Bennett, they left their home and family in Oklahoma to follow God’s leading to build a life in California. And that transition was immediately met with difficulties – from house contracts falling through to discovering that Julie had stage 3 breast cancer. They quickly learned that home is really about who you do life with. 

Their journey has led them to write their book “Fighting For Family”, because family is for everyone. And family isn’t just those you are related to. It’s the community you choose or find.
