  • Resistance Numbers 8.19.26

Athena decided to help me provide an update on the campaign. We have our signs. We’re running ads on FB, IG, and YouTube. The expensive part, mail and text, is about to hit and we don’t quite have what we need.

I also threw in a reminder about what kind of person I’m running against.

  • Resistance Deja Vu 8.17.26

I was planning on transitioning my campaign messaging away from Ty Winter and focus it on me and my platform.

Then life happened and I had to do another one. Next up will be a campaign update. Spoiler alert, while we’re doing really well, I’m going to have to raise at least $30k. My update will explain it all.

  • Resistance Waiting 8.12.26

Sometimes I make a video that may or may not be timely. Sometimes I just have to get a thought out of my head.

Personally, I think this one is timely as long as Trump is in office. But others might think I’m rehashing old news.

At the end of the day, I got it out of my head.

When is the last time Trump put America first?

  • Resistance Policy 8.11.26

Colorado already has one of the safest and most secure election systems in America.

But is it strong enough to withstand unconstitutional interference from the federal government?

Both Colorado Republicans and Democrats say our elections need to be protected or strengthened. I agree.

That’s why, when elected, I’ll introduce the Colorado Election Protection Act.

Here’s how it works, and why I think Republicans who believe in federalism and states’ rights should support it too.

As much as I’d like to say I came up with this myself, I must give credit and thanks to Christopher Armitage

You can find a the actual legislation here.

  • Resistance Hypocrisy 8.7.26

Politicians say a lot of things about supporting rural communities. Their voting records tell us what they actually do.

Colorado’s Healthy School Meals for All program is bringing funding to 23 of the 31 school districts in House District 47, including money that helps schools purchase food from local farmers and ranchers.

It took a series of six bills over four years to make this happen. Rep. Ty Winter wasn’t in office for the first one.

He voted against the other five.

    I’ve got a different plan.

  • Resistance Power 8.4.26

I recently watched my State Representative tell the La Junta, CO city council about his efforts in the legislature this year.

One of the things he brought up was the bill he proposed about nuclear power. He didn’t tell them that his bill failed. He did tell them that it was about the possibility of having a small modular reactor in our district some day.

Unfortunately for him, I’m very familiar with his bill. If we define a lie as the purposeful misrepresentation of what one knows to be the truth then one must conclude that he lied to that city council. His bill didn’t say anything about an SMR. It was also tailor made for the states largest, investor-owned, electricity provider.

You can tell a lot about an elected official by the policies they propose. First ask, “who benefits.” Then ask, “do I benefit.” Two simple questions with very important answers.

    Follow the money.

  • Resistance Disgust 7.29.26

Sometimes its not amazing but sickening to see how far politicians will go to make their PACMasters happy. Ironically, in this case, doing so goes against what's best for the constituency this politicians is supposedly a champion for. In this video I expose his allegiance to the Big 4 corporate meatpackers that make life hard for family ranchers. I also give an example of how I'll represent them by giving a proposal to help them keep more value out of their hard work.

  • Resistance Doubt 7.28.26

Why are politicians always trying to paint billionaires as the heroes of the American economy? They want us to forget that all of the rules are written to the benefit of corporations first. One of the rules that is going to cost average Americans the most over the coming years is the 'just and reasonable' standard of the federal regulatory commission. This video gives two stark examples of how.Vic Meyers for Democracy

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm not a Schumer Democrat. I fight back!Ty wants to go trumpian on me for exposing his horrendous voting record in an ad. He probably expected me to cower down like Dems so often do. But this is a new day for Democrats. There are more and more of us fighting instead of cowering.Unfortunately, fighting is expensive.Support me at Vic Meyers for Democracy#fighting #rurallife #colorado

  • Resistance Confirmation 7.22.26

This isn’t the first video I’ve made about confirmation hearings.

With this one, I’m hoping to help people understand why it’s so important for the Democrats to take back the Senate.
