This week’s guest is Brandon Wade. He’s a Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Oklahoma CD2.
I knew a kid growing up in Beulah who’s first name was Wade. There’s a guy at work who’s first name is Wade. That’s my excuse for the bonehead mistake of referring to Brandon Wade as “Wade” multiple times in the episode. Oops.
Seriously though, Brandon Wade is the kind of grass-roots, working-class, Maint St candidate that we’re all saying we need more of in Congress. If you want to support him, go to Brandon4Congress.Com.
It sounds cliche to say Labor Day isn't about the day off work and the picnic, even if it is true. Whenever the topic of taxing the rich pops up, I’m vexed with how so many middle-class and poor people are against the idea. Maybe if they did a little bit of simple math, they could see why it needs to be done. In this video, I used the billion-dollar Powerball jackpot to help them out with it.
Today is a good day to remember Justice Thurgood Marshall #resistance #scotus #civilrights #thurgoodmarshall
WE have accepted mediocrity for too long.

I was editing and posting a video earlier tonight when I learned about the DNC killing resolution 18. I’ve been struggling for a while on whether or not I should stay in the Democratic Party. The only thing that has kept me here is my sincere belief that our best bet going forward is to rebuild the party from the ground up. Now I’m not sure if that’s possible. One thing is for certain. If Ken Martin stays, I go.
By refusing to indict Sean Dunn and Sydney Reid, the grand juries have set the example and given us reason to hope.
We’ll never take down the oligarchs if we stay focused on the straw man instead of the rich man.
George asks how to tell if a candidate is truly progressive or just wearing the label. Also, how to tell if you should contribute to them.
Here’s my take.
