How to Keep Moving Forward After the Worst Day of Your Life

Have you ever wondered if God actually hears your prayers? Maybe you've made too many mistakes, don't know what to say, or feel like you're just not good enough.

What if everything you believed about prayer was making it harder than it needs to be?

In this message, Samuel challenges some of the biggest misconceptions about prayer and explains why powerful prayer isn't about having the perfect words, praying for hours, or earning God's approval.

Through the story of Peter walking on water, a desperate man asking for mercy, and a thief hanging on a cross, we discover how a few simple words spoken in faith can make a difference.

You'll discover why your past doesn't have to disqualify you, how to pray when you don't know what to say, and why your relationship with God matters more than how impressive your prayers sound.

Whether you've been praying your entire life, haven't prayed in years, or aren't even sure what you believe about God, this message offers a fresh perspective on what prayer can look like.

You don't need perfect words. You don't need a perfect past. You can start right where you are.

What has been your biggest struggle with prayer? Share your thoughts in the comments.

The 3-Word Prayer That Changed Everything

What do you do after the worst day of your life—and what happens when having more still isn’t enough?

This Christian message from ResLife Church explores how to move forward after loss, find purpose beyond possessions, and use what you have to make a lasting difference.

In the final message of “What to Do on the Worst Day of Your Life,” we revisit David’s story in 1 Samuel 30. After returning to a devastated home, David finds strength in God, recovers what was lost, and shares what he gains.

That story leads to a bigger question: Are we building a meaningful life, or simply accumulating more?

Whether you’re rebuilding after a setback, reconsidering your priorities, or exploring what Christianity says about money and purpose, this sermon offers a faith-based perspective on what really lasts.

In this message:
• Moving forward after loss and disappointment
• How your experience can help someone else
• Why generosity matters after a breakthrough
• The difference between enjoying possessions and trusting them
• What Jesus taught about money, priorities, and treasures in heaven
• Responding to Jesus and receiving His forgiveness

Featured Bible passages include 1 Samuel 30, 2 Corinthians 1:3–4, Proverbs 11:24, Ephesians 4:28, Luke 12:15–21, and 1 Timothy 6:17–19.
