What does it mean to pray “Thy will be done”?
Are we really satisfied with His will if our lives are marked by grumbling?
In this episode of Christian Life Issues for Today, Dr. Wayne Mack explains what Jesus Christ meant when He explained to the disciples that they should pray that God’s will would be done. In this biblically based episode, God’s will is discussed in great length, by firstly looking at various figures in the Scriptures that trusted God will for their lives, like Job, Eli, David and the Apostle Paul. Various questions will also be answered, such as is it a sin to ask that God would change our difficult circumstances? May we feel sorrowful when we experience difficult circumstances? Can I know what God’s will is specifically for me, just like Moses did when God audibly spoke to Him? All of this and much more will be discussed within this Scripture filled episode!
