He is a former pro swimmer, NCAA All American, Ukrainian Junior National Champion, former amateur boxer, survivor of clinical death and currently a cancer fighter. In this two part interview series, we will explore the mindset of a champion not only in sports but also in life. In this episode, Shark will share how he came face to face with death early in his life in the midst of his rising swimming career. Together we will examine the nature of his grit amidst the veil of limitations created by his heart condition.
