Work is probably something that you have a love/hate relationship with. We often enjoy the benefits of our work but not the act of it. Ecclesiastes as already mentioned our work (toil) multiple times, but in 3:9-15 we take a deeper look. What does the Scripture say our relationship with work should look like. There are some experiences in our lives that we desire to last longer than they do, but there are probably others that we hope would end sooner. Regardless of what the “season” is, there is a life span to each that we encounter in our lives. Ecclesiastes speaks to many of these in the next message of “Don’t Waste Your Life.”

The presence and existence of God is uniquely awesome. By His power, not only does he justly reign over us, but he also reigns over all other gods and idols. In his power, he protects us from evil and truly loves us. This is truly worthy of praise.

Do you enjoy singing? When you sing, who do you sing to; what is your attitude during this time? Psalm 95 addressing each of these questions but may not be things that you’ve considered before. Let’s consider them together on Sunday as we gather to Sing to the King.

The Lord’s throne has been established from of old, but what does this mean? Psalm 93 speaks of the establishment of God’s throne, which can be a foreign concept for us since we don’t have an earthly king. As we dig into this psalm, may the Lord lead you to worship Him as King and that He might reign in your life.

Everlasting joy can be a difficult reality for us to experience depending on our circumstances. However, the Scriptures speak of singing praises to the King with a joy beyond our current situation. Have you met this King? Our prayer is that you would experience the joy that comes from the King as we gather on Sunday to look at Psalm 47.

Do you ever just want to hear the voice of God? I think many of us do, but how does the Lord speak to us, and when He does, what does it sound like? Psalm 29 describes the Voice of the Lord in a ferocious way, and we’ll consider these things on Sunday as we continue to Sing to the King.
