There are big questions about Christianity that float throughout culture, but the biggest is probably that of resurrection. Is resurrection possible? This is one of question that Apostle Paul addresses in his letter to the Corinthians. During the Easter season this year, we’ll dive into 1 Corinthians 15:12-22 to wrestle with this very question! Join us this Sunday (Palm Sunday) as we kickoff our new series.

As we end our collective journey through the book of Acts, we come back to the purpose of the book. Paul finally makes it to Rome, as the Lord had promised, and he likely is expecting more trouble. His expectation is for persecution and pushback, but instead he finds a peaceful group of people and more open doors for the kingdom of God to advance. What we see this week is, though the 28th chapter closes this book, a new chapter has dawned and has massive implications for God's people. 

Life’s journey often feels uncertain, restless, and unpredictable. Like Paul, we find ourselves on roads we never expected — facing storms, struggles, and setbacks. Acts 28:1-16 reveals that Paul’s journey was far more than just survival — it was marked by unwavering trust in God’s purpose.

Despite Paul's warning, they steer the ship directly into a storm on the way to Rome. In the middle of the storm, the entire ship is anxious and going crazy- throwing their cargo off the ship and running around like madmen. In the midst of the craziness, there is one man who is non-anxious: Paul. He leverages this storm to share God's Word and point people to Jesus by exhorting them to "not be afraid." Just like God promises, every human being arrives safely on land (though the boat is destroyed - yikes).

There is often confusion in our culture about whether or not we can or should talk about faith with other people. For those of us who are born again believers, the mandate is there to proclaim the truth about Jesus to those around us. However, there are tactful ways to do that. In this week’s text, we see Apostle Paul do this several times before various Roman leaders. Join us this Sunday for Acts 24:1-26:32.

After appearing before the Council, the anger towards Paul is growing. In this week’s text, we read of a plot to ambush and kill him. Yet, we see the Apostle continue to trust the Lord. A firm, consistent trust that should be evidenced in the life of all believers. Join us this week as we continue through the book of Acts.

Paul lived his life "in good conscience" among those he interacted with throughout his ministry. Here we see Paul being persecuted by religious leaders, though Paul did nothing wrong except preach the word of Christ. Join us as we see how we can be like Christ in the midst of persecution!

Paul’s story is definitely miraculous. Once a prominent enemy of the Church, and now a leading missionary for the Church. In Acts 21:39 – 22:21, we find Paul speaking the people as a prisoner, but it doesn’t stop him from proclaiming the greatness of God. As we dive into this text, the question to ask ourselves is: what would I do in a similar situation?

As chaos ensues, our emotions can influence us in our decision making. Unfortunately, during these times, we don’t always make the best decisions. We see both sides of this as Paul is arrested in Acts 21:27-38. I pray that you will consider joining us this weekend as we discuss the need for discernment.

The Apostle Paul was no stranger to controversy. In Acts 21:17-26 after arriving in Jerusalem, the issue that had been addressed in Acts 15 at the Council is brought up again. As we see the response of Paul, I believe that we can learn how to navigate sensitive cultural issues with sincerity towards others while honoring the Lord.
