As the Church of Jesus Christ we are His body and we are to be one, so we do need each other in order to complete the task He gave us. We all have something to give and not just take. Our enemies are not going away! But that is what most of us want. We just want everything bad to just go away and for everything to be okay and easy. However, as followers of Jesus Christ, He didn't promise us that but He did promise peace and power to live victoriously in the midst of the turmoil and struggles of life. We can rule in the midst of our enemies, Jesus made it possible.
