Faith is not just something we do on Sunday it is something that we live everyday of week. To live like Jesus told us to is not as easy as it may seem. However, that is why Jesus left us His Holy Spirit to empower us with all that we need to be able to be like Him, everyday!

If you want to know what you truly value simply look at what you sacrifice for. Not what you say you are willing to sacrifice for but what you actually sacrifice for. Your family, your job, house, relationships, etc.. What do value?

The next generation will always be a product of the previous generation. What are we giving them? What are we pouring into them? Are we passing down godly values and principles? It's not a one time thing we do but a daily, consistent process. It's the trickle down effect. We will have an effect on the next generation the question is "what kind of an effect will we have?"

God's ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts higher than ours. God functions and exist on such a higher plane than we do sometimes His ways are not just higher they don't make sense to us. For instance, the least in the kingdom of God is the greatest. Or to find your life you have to lose it. It's the law of paradox.

What is the one thing that man can give to God? Glory. God's words, as our father, should be given great weight. We should honor Him by giving glory to Him by living and honoring His word to us.

When the Holy Spirit comes He does supernatural things because He is supernatural. He also fills us and empowers us, the church, to live and function in the supernatural. This week we will deal with the two things that happened on the day of Pentecost and how that has shaped our world.
