In the mid 80s a new concept in women's wrestling stormed onto the scene and made a lasting impact. No longer were the nameless women's matches used as an added attraction on par with Terrible Ted the wrestling bear, G.L.O.W. developed a program that focused on characters and personality and storytelling. As the first American promotion that had a television show that featured only women wrestling, it paved the way for decades to come and the G.L.O.W. girls were trailblazers that smashed boundaries.
Listen in as Cory and Mikey share some of their early memories of watching G.L.O.W. and then get the stories first had from the original G.L.O.W. girl (that's O.G.G.) "Hollywood" Jeanne Basone. We talk history, we talk behind the scenes, we talk horror movies and hair bands and soap making... it's an amazing chat that you will not want to miss!
