RETRO TV RADIO Classic Celebrity Interviews with Host: Pat McCormack

Lee Purcell is nothing less than a Hollywood icon. This Emmy nominated actress has a vast amount of credits, and has worked with the biggest names in the business, from actors to directors. Her current project called The Hollywood Radio Players, is a nostalgic look back, and recreation of some of the very best shows from Radio's Golden Age. The H.R.P. serves the dual purpose of entertaining audiences with "radio you can see" on their exclusive Hollywood Radio Players YouTube channel, all for FREE, while at the same time providing an opportunity for all of us to lend a financial hand to EVERYONE involved with the making of motion pictures and television.

Through their YouTube channel AND their hollywoodradioplayers.com website, you can donate to "The Motion Picture & Television Fund" as much, or as little as you can to help get not only actors, but people at and in every level of the production process. The MPTF has been in existence for over a century, and we discuss the many wonderful things they do for these folks especially in a time of need. It thus goes without saying that Lee is highly involved with the SAG-AFTRA strike, doing all she can to help this union reach it's highly deserved goals. Vivacious, highly intellectual, witty, superbly talented, and uh..quite beautiful, would only be the short list of describing the many positive facets of one Lee Purcell. ENJOY!

You can get more info on Lee by visiting her website: https://leepurcell.com Also go to The Hollywood Radio Players website: http://thehollywoodradioplayers.com and visit, like, and subscribe to their Hollywood Radio Players YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2NeDnXgMuM&list=PLzJKZ5Sl0E5-CTApqeWEAB7iX2k9IGlZC OR @hollywoodradioplayers on YouTube search.

While your there please consider making a donation to the highly established "Motion Picture & Television Fund", (https://mptf.com) while being entertained (for free) by these nostalgic renditions of some of the greatest shows ever to grace Radio's Golden Age. As Lee says, "it's radio you can watch, with much deeper scripts than TV".

Legendary actress and singer Tina Cole, also known as Katie Douglas from "My Three Sons," is entertainment royalty. She is the daughter of the famed Yvonne King of The Singing King Sisters and the renowned musician Buddy Cole. She was brought up literally surrounded by some of the biggest stars from the golden age of Hollywood.

In this vivacious interview, we discussed her new memoir titled "My Three Lives." The memoir is a tell-all about Tina's many unique experiences growing up in a famous family and her inside accounts of becoming a super popular part of yet another famous family. As Katie Douglas on "My Three Sons" she was launched her into stardom.

It's no secret that MTS fans adored her, as shown by the vast amounts of fan mail she received. I found her to be effervescent, kind, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, humble. After hearing this, my guess is that you all will have the very same impression.

Enjoy, share, and be sure to check out her "official" Facebook fan page and pick up your very own autographed copy of Tina Cole: "My Three Lives - A Memoir" here: https://www.facebook.com/OfficialTinaCole

Hot off his recent cameo appearance in "SHAZAM! Fury of the Gods," Michael Gray has proven himself as a living legend. From his days as a bona fide teen idol with multiple television appearances to landing the iconic role of "Billy Batson" on the Saturday morning kids' classic SHAZAM!, who would have thought that 47 years later Michael would once again be a part of the SHAZAM universe? Maybe the Elders.

Michael and I talk about the fantastic experiences he had on set and developing his great friendship with SHAZAM star Zachary Levi and what that may have led to. We also discuss his dear friends from the original series, including John Davy ("Captain Marvel #2), whom Gray is attending an upcoming event within the SF Bay Area this coming August!

Check out this link for The Bay Area Toy Expo, and if your in the area come meet him and maybe even yours truly as I too plan to attend. https://bayareatoyexpo.com/

Kathy Coleman is one impressive person. Not just her iconic acting, but in all areas of her life. Listen as we go deep on some meaningful subjects of fan relations, life-long friends and collaborators, and of course her AWESOME memoir "Run Holly Run: A Memoir by Holly from 1970s TV Classic Land of the Lost" by Kathy Coleman. Her insights on life are so heartfelt and valuable. She, and her Land of the Lost TV brother, Wesley Eure, have become my dear friends. Kathleen is even the "unofficial" Godmother of my cat "Miss PeekaBoo Jones", who of course we gush over. BTW, "PeekaBoo Jones" was the name of her beloved dog she shared about in her book. The book is among my favorite autobiographies ever. You get it and I'm sure you'll see why!

It should come as no surprise that the real-life story of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans is all good! That fact doesn't get left out of Julie Rogers Pomilia's memories, not to mention her book, "Your Heroes-My Grandparents: A Granddaughter's Love". We discuss some of her fondest memories and just how much her grandparents avoided the trappings of fame, at least mostly. Her stories of how she slowly came to discover their very well-downplayed fame are thoroughly entertaining as well as amazing! Enjoy!
