Marta Kristen is an American actress best known for her role as Judy Robinson in the classic television series "Lost in Space." Born on February 26, 1945, in Oslo, Norway, Kristen was "discovered" by producer/director/writer James B. Harris while eating at a drive-in restaurant in Santa Monica. Despite initially declining to read for the part of Lolita, Harris made arrangements for Kristen to acquire an agent, leading to several guest roles in popular television shows of the time.

Kristen ultimately landed the role of Judy Robinson in "Lost in Space" after meeting with Irwin Allen, the series' producer. Initially hesitant to take the part due to concerns about the character's underutilization, Kristen agreed to the role after Allen pitched several potential script ideas. The series became a beloved science fiction classic and helped solidify Kristen's place in the hearts and minds of TV viewers.

After the series ended, Kristen continued to work in the entertainment industry, making over 40 TV commercials and guest-starring in popular TV shows such as "Mannix," "Remington Steele," and "Trapper John." She also appeared in a number of films, including Hallmark Hall of Fame's "Harvest of Fire," "Body Count," and the 1998 film adaptation of "Lost in Space."

In addition to her acting career, Kristen has been very active in theater on the West Coast, receiving praise for her performance in Arthur Kopit's award-winning play "Wings." She is also an avid traveler, especially in the Far East, where she enjoys trekking in the Himalayas.

Kristen is a shining example of resilience and positivity, having continued to lead a fulfilling life even after the loss of her spouse. She stays busy with various projects, including her newest film appearance in "A Bachelor's Valentine."

Wally Kurth is a high profile actor on classic daytime soap operas. For over three decades and up to this very day he's been holding down his prestigious roles on General Hospital as "Ned Quartermaine" and Days of Our Lives as "Justin Kiriakis". Having forged these classic characters aside, to me, Wally also sings easily as great as he acts and quite often combines the two on the shows. Case in point, his GH alter-ego rock star character from the '90s, "Eddie Maine and the Idol Rich". I was actually a member of the Idol Rich. Not to confuse matters even more, we were actually called "Kurth & Taylor" as in Wally Kurth and Christian Taylor in the real world. For more than a decade this Emmy Award winning musical venture played all over the country and released multiple albums while raising many thousands of dollars for various children's charities. For me, it was an unforgettable experience! As easily one of the most recognizable faces on television, hear this fascinating tale about Wally's humble beginnings in Billings Montana, to almost instantly having his name in lights on Broadway!! Yes, we cover some ground here which is great because Wally is a great story teller not to mention being one of the most beloved actors amongst his daytime peers. Trust me. Everyone LOVES Waldo! Speaking of which, Wally's newest musical venture with his quartet The Day Players are out performing. They are a hybrid of Days and GH leading men who all can belt out a tune!  Go to their website: http://www.thedayplayersband.com for upcoming appearances near you! Here's the story: my pal and previous podcast guest Kathy Garver put me in touch with her friend and former co-star, Christopher Knight, to join us on the Retro TV Radio, and needless to say, they both came through. These friends are wonderful, not just because of all the years of sheer entertainment they've given to all of us, but also because they are SO down-to-earth, friendly, and supportive. I must add that Chris's lovely wife, Cara, was also extremely helpful in making this happen!

The iconic actor talks with me about that classic show and role that made him famous, of course, but we also discuss his newest entertainment venture with fellow Brady Bunch co-star Barry Williams. It's called The Real Brady Bros podcast, which I HIGHLY recommend! For the record, I am a bona fide fan and honestly haven't missed an episode. The two "bros" dissect every episode (in no particular order) based on their recollections of making them. Meanwhile, they see and learn things that they weren't fully aware of during the time, many times adding new meaning and definition to the series episodes for themselves and the fans. Yep, a thoroughly entertaining Brady Bunch deep dive! If you or anyone you know is a Brady Bunch fan, you really should tune in and subscribe to the Real Brady Bros. podcast. You'll find it on all your favorite platforms.

Chris and I also touch on his side projects, careers, and entrepreneurial ventures. He candidly tells us how he made his attention deficit disorder actually work FOR him within various tech industries. Chris's creativity and ingenuity, which I've come to learn is shared by his lovely wife Cara, is evidenced by their incredible product line at Christopher Knight Homes.
