Ruta Lee "IS" Hollywood.  From Classic to Contemporary. Currently, Ms. Lee has published her best selling memoirs (#2 on Amazon) with Briton Publishing, titled “Consider Your Ass Kissed.”  A treasure trove of wonderful stories, anecdotes with rare first hand and authentic memories of the entertainment industry that she shares with us! Only a chosen few though.  I have read it and I love it! Just the many pictures alone are worth every penny.  In addition to her recent memoirs, Ruta (Chairman Emitirus of the Thalians with former colleague Debbie Reynolds) is bringing awareness to the need to take mental illness seriously.  Their theme at this years event (Dec 3rd at The Hollywood Museum honoring Dr Phil and Robin McGraw) is “Hollywood for Mental Health” for over a half century; currently devoted to helping UCLA Operation Mend’s brave military men and women heal the wounds of war. Especially in a post pandemic world, when depression is at an all time high as millions of people in the U.S. are affected by mental illness each year.  Currently projected at 1 out of every 5 people are affected or effected by mental illness. It’s important to measure how common mental illness is, so we can understand its physical, social and financial impact — and so we can show that no one is alone. These numbers are also powerful tools for raising public awareness, stigma-busting and advocating for better health care. Thalians helps those not only in body, but mind and spirit as well.

Pick up your copy of Ruta's memoire "Consider Your Ass Kissed" here: https://www.amazon.com/Consider-Your-Ass-Kissed-Ruta/dp/1735383449

I just finished it and thus I can HIGHLY recommend it!

The multi-talented Wesley Eure took time off his holiday vacation to chat with me about his wonderful career. We discuss this past year and his appearance with Kathy Coleman at The First Annual Krofft Kon! We touch on his time in Days of Our Lives and of course Land of the Lost.

Wesley Eure is perhaps best known as Will Marshall from the Krofft brothers creation Land of the Lost. But his resume runs deep. Hear about his experiences on the various shows he performed on including Days of Our Lives, and as a live stage performer opening for one Bill Cosby (in better days). We have a lot of fun in this conversation with many laughs. Enjoy!

Dee Wallace

Rich Correll is a multifaceted Hollywood power house! As the son of the legendary Charles Correll of Amos and Andy, Rich's experiences with the who's who of Hollywood's golden era are nothing less than astonishing! Just wait until you hear the list of names he drops! Rich has been best buddies with former podcast guest Jerry Mathers since their days on Leave it to Beaver when Rich played Jerry's best bud Richard Rickover. Hearing them talk about their extremely unique experiences is wonderful, but perhaps most importantly that neither of them let their fame and notoriety go to there heads.

We also discuss his works as an actor, producer, director, creator and writter. Told you he was multifaceted!

Gearge Chakiris is in my humble opinion one of the greatest performers of the 20th century who's list of credits back that statement up! Join me and George as we talk about all of it and the similar experience we had living in Hollywood but in different decades. George has performed with some of the greatest names in the business. A triple threat like his lifelong friend Rita Moreno. Sterling Silver line of fine jewelry "The George Chakiris Collection". His autobiography "My West Side Story: A Memoir"

As a true child-star in both classic movies and television, Stanley Livingston has appeared on the big screen in the epic John Ford directed film "How the West was Won", also "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" alongside Doris Day, The Bonnie Parker Story, Skippy, X-15 and more. But he is perhaps best remembered as Chip Douglas from classic television's (still on the air) "My Three Sons" starring alongside the great cast of Fred MacMurray, William Frawley, William Demarest, brother Barry, Don Grady, Beverly Garland, and Dawn Lyn. We discuss it all!
