This week we are discussing Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, an Arcade game (later ported to consoles) released in 1998 that brings together iconic heroes and villains from Marvel Comics and Capcom's greatest franchises in one of the most beloved crossover fighting games of its era. Featuring fast-paced 2D combat, explosive special moves, flashy tag-assist mechanics, and a roster that includes characters like Ryu, Mega Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America, and Chun-Li, it laid the foundation for the legendary Marvel vs. Capcom series that continues to influence fighting games today.
