Reunion Roadmap

Ron and Candi Runyon have been friends of BYNA since the beginning, and for over two years have served as our Strategic Prayer Directors. It is a role for which they have been in preparation for many years, although they didn’t know it until they stepped into the position! In this two-part interview, they share their experiences coordinating the team of intercessors who maintain a foundation of prayer and thanksgiving on behalf of BYNA and the covenant family of Abraham around the world.

How is prayer connected with the battles we face on a spiritual level? Barry and David investigate that in their midrash, “Love and Warfare”  – a topic illustrated movingly in the music of Will Spires.

Just what is an intercessor, and how is that different from a prayer warrior? Donna Matts has some experience in that arena. In fact, intercessory prayer has been a huge part of Donna’s life for many years. She has been part of many prayer circles, including the prayer teams for Nations’ 9th of Av and B’ney Yosef North America. She shares her story with us in this show, and along the way sheds light on the often difficult, but highly rewarding, work of an intercessor.

Donna is also part of the core planning team for Nations’ 9th of Av. To learn more about what they are doing and how you can be part of this groundbreaking work of reconciliation, visit https://9-av.com/.

The music of Will Spires and  Jimmie Black add another dimension to Donna’s testimony, along with the midrash by Barry Phillips and David Jones which they call, “Be A Light.

One of the wondrous things our God is doing these days is awakening a love for and identity with Israel in the hearts of Christians all over the world. At BYNA, that awakening has come with the understanding that we who are redeemed through Messiah Yeshua have been adopted into God’s covenant family of Israel, and in that way have acquired a kinship with the Jewish people. Others understand that awakening differently, but the overall result is a greater appreciation for the Jewish people and a desire to heal the divisions between us.

Since this awakening has been going on for some time, it’s not surprising that there are young people who have grown up in such an environment of connection with the land and people of Israel. Matthew Wearp is one of them. He is our guest in this podcast, sharing his perspective as a young man who, by the age of 20, had been to Israel more times than most people visit in their lifetimes. What has he learned, and how has that shaped his identity and worldview? That’s what we find out as he shares his story!

Matthew is on the planning team for the Nations’ 9th of Av. To learn more about what they are doing and how you can be part of this groundbreaking work of reconciliation, visit https://9-av.com/.

Be sure to check out Blessed Buy Israel (https://blessedbuyisrael.com/), the business the Wearp family has established to help Jewish pioneers in Judea and Samaria.

Along with Matthew’s interview, this podcast includes music of Mason Clover and  Jimmie Black, and another thought-provoking midrash from Barry Phillips and David Jones which they call, “Six Year Strangers.”

Dr. Art Mathias of Wellspring Ministries continues his conversation with us on the central role forgiveness plays in healing. What is the spiritual dimension to this issue? Is there spiritual warfare involved? Those are some of the questions Art covers as we conclude our visit with him!

Two people who understand a lot about forgiveness and healing are Kelly Ferrari Mills and Jimmie Black. They share some of their testimonies in music, and Barry and David bring us another insightful discussion from the scriptures which they call, “Fear or Kingdom.”

Meet Dr. Art Mathias of Wellspring Ministries!  Art has a calling to help people achieve complete healing in every area of their lives. He shares with us his understanding of forgiveness in that process. This is an issue impacting every person, but one that many (even most) never come to embrace completely. Is that why so many followers of Yeshua still experience pain and sickness? Find out what Art has to say on that question in this first of a two-part interview!

Mason Clover and the Aleph Tav Band are our musical guests, each bringing songs highlighting the importance of forgiveness. Barry and David carry that theme forward in their midrash, “Forgive and Forget.” This is one podcast that will resonate with every listener!

Barbara Wilkins is our guest again today as we conclude our visit with her. This is where we learn how she came to understand her identity with Israel, and what that did in opening her eyes to the sad history the church has had regarding the Jewish people. That explains a lot about why Barbara is a key part of the Nations’ 9th of Av as she prays and works toward seeing all of God’s covenant family reconciled. The original music of Bill Green and Corey Jewell surround the message our Elders bring on the topic of prophecy. In this podcast, Barry Phillips and David Jones discuss “Red Flag Prophets.” To find out more about the Nations’ 9th of Av, including the upcoming Virtual Tour of Israel and 9th of Av Solemn Assembly Livestream, visit https://9-av.com/.

That’s what we learn in this two-part visit with her at her home in Tennessee. Mason Clover and  Will Spires lend their creative talents our musical offerings, and Barry Phillips and David Jones lead us in a continuing conversation about the gift of prophecy.
