Have you ever worked somewhere that had a rule that you felt went against your morals? Did you speak out against that rule? If you haven’t, would you? Now if you knew you would face the worst possible punishment, would that change your mind about speaking out, or would you just follow the rule to avoid punishment? In today’s message, Pastor Mark explains how John was sent to the island of Patmos which equated to a maximum security prison. He was exiled because he continued to live his life for Jesus. Even faced with exile and the threat of boiling oil, John wouldn’t stop suffering and living for Jesus.
