It is good and right to sing praises to our Lord. He is worthy. Let’s also make sure we are praising Him with the way we live and serve.
The whole Bible points to this time. What I said at the very opening of this message was a few sentences from Dr. Mark Hitchcock’s book “The End.” Pg 384. I forgot to mention that in the audio and am giving him credit here.
This is the final chapter of tribulation. It brings up some things very relevant to us today. The people of that day will be very caught up in the world. Can that be a problem for Christians today? How do we prevent that from happening to us?
God hates sexual immorality. It is important we learn to hate it with him. The worldly system of the tribulation will embrace sexual immortality. It’s not hard to picture that in the sexually immoral world we live in.
These 7 bowl judgements are the final judgements of the Tribulation. The next two chapters give greater detail to these judgements. What stood out to me is that this chapter deemed clearly that those of the tribulation deserved these judgements.
One thing I have noticed even more this time around through the book of Revelation is the reminder to us, throughout the book, of good news to those who keep faith in Jesus.
I am challenged, inspired and have conviction to write a Psalm of praise to our God. I think He would be honored if we all did so.
I chose to use the same image in Revelation 14 as 13. Even though I believe in a pretribulation rapture of the church I feel it as a duty to prepare people for what to do and not to do in the tribulation. You are to keep your faith in Jesus, even to death, and not take the mark of the beast or worship his image.
The tribulation is a horrific time. Lord willing the church will not be there but if you or someone found themselves there it is important to know that we must keep faith in Jesus and not worship the beast or take his mark.
Satan throughout history has sought to deceive and devour God’s people. It is happening now and will happen all the more in the tribulation.

We teach studying the Bible more thoroughly by slowing down and taking in the Bible in a deeper manner versus reading many chapters at once and glossing over what one is reading.
