In Episode 14, we sit down with Steve Goold. Steve is a professional drummer that has toured the world with some of biggest names in the industry. Here's a snippet from Steve's Bio: I play drums professionally: Live, in studios, and at clinics. I currently work a lot for Sara Bareilles and Ben Rector, and occasionally with Paul Baloche and Sara Groves. In the past I've worked for Owl City, Joel Hanson, the Honeydogs, Go Fish, the Blenders, and a whole bunch of others. I'm also the Head Musical Director at Christ's Church of the Valley in Phoenix AZ, where I live with my wife and daughters. This Drumhead Magazine article explains a little bit about my music career, and this video accurately captures how I feel about my life. As a musician I currently endorse Risen Drums, Paiste Cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, Remo Percussion, Canopus snare drums, Alclair Audio, and Mono Cases. As a human being I endorse foosball, disc golf, reading the Bible, reading books generally, single malt scotch, being kind and/or positive, longboarding, and asian food.

In Episode 13, we bring you another #weekinreverse episode. This time, Brenton shares a brief version of his story as it relates to creativity and his musical background. Brenton was on a tour bus at a young age with his Father, who sang in a Southern Gospel quartet all throughout Brenton's younger years. His Dad, also a drummer, inspired him to pursue music and he became an accomplished drummer. Through high school he began playing in different bands and getting into recording and producing his own music and also spending his afternoons at a local radio station working as a DJ. Soon after, he was on staff at a church as a Worship Leader and, from there, went on to write worship songs and travel as a singer/songwriter. This has been one of our favorites so far, and Kevin was kind enough to invite us into his home to talk all things creativity. Kevin Max (born August 17, 1967) is an American singer, songwriter, and poet. He is best known for being a member of the Christian pop group dc Talk. As a solo artist following the 2001 dissolution of dc Talk, he has recorded six full-length studio albums, one Christmas album, and four EPs. From 2012 until 2014, he was the lead singer of the band Audio Adrenaline.
Kevin shares about what it takes to stay creative in an ever-changing world while staying true to yourself and who you are as an artist. Through the best and hardest times, Kevin has managed to keep his creativity operating at a high level and inspire many through his various musical endeavors. He is excited about his new album which comes out April 2016 and we can't wait to see where that will take him! He discusses the importance of knowing who you are as a person and as a creative in order to be the best you that you can be. Bryant started playing guitar as a teenager and went on to study music in college as well as play with several different bands. He was also on staff as a Worship Leader for many years and served the local church in the areas of music and media design. For him, reversing back involves seeing a crazy path with interwoven confirmations of what he was supposed to pursue as a creative person.
