In a leadership position, a pastor is often looked up to and admired. And it can be tempting for those in this role to become proud and entitled. You can become demanding, expecting obedience and respect. Yet, as Pastor John teaches today, a minister should be nurturing, caring, and above all, loving toward those he leads. He should be humble and sacrificial, as Paul teaches in today’s scripture. This is an important calling from God, to lead His people, not just a job to do.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 Thessalonians chapter 2 as he continues his message The Marks of a Model Minister.
