Revolve One

On this episode, we check back in with rapper and longtime friend, AB Dvinci, to celebrate and talk about his new single: #Fuego (feat. Droopy M., DJ Kane, and Big Tank D). AB has always been a supporter of ours whether on the mat as a martial arts instructor or when we're behind the mic recording and producing episodes!

With his new single out, we knew we had to take the time to lift up a fire, fresh jam. Of course we talked politics briefly with the election just passed, and caught up on life as it just keeps going while we keep creating.

This special commemorative episode is brought to you by our local South Texas Pride community featuring our guests: Mars Monroe and Victoria Whitson. We are ecstatic to be part of such a vibrant and vital community as Revolve One lifts up those showing their rainbow colors. With October being LGBTQ+ History Month, we knew something special had to be done for the release of our 100th episode—we are reminding everyone what pride is all about as it persistently teaches that love is love.

As much as we celebrate love and our LGBTQ+ community, we understand it is not always so easy to show your pride.

Unfortunately "LGBTQ(+) young people are at a higher risk of experiencing negative mental health outcomes than their heterosexual and cisgender peers".

If you or someone you know is feeling hopeless or suicidal, please call the TrevorLifeline at 1-866-488-7386 or text START to 678-678.

This is available for everyone 24/7—remember you are loved and cared for.

Jonathan and Joe discuss everything from the generational gap between them, the differences in their past careers and if they were "out", and the disparity of how they felt about their sexual identity then vs. now.

Also, Jonathan and Joe touch on the importance of voting in order to make our voices heard, especially being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. During this election year, voting your conscience is more important than ever before.
