Another week - more pondering .

Welcome to the readings and sermon from our service today looking at welcoming more into our family photos so to speak. We are thinking about carrying on, not giving up, preaching God's word which is never in chains.

Sometimes, to know the choice to make even when it is hard is found easier when we have nurtured our faith, studied the Word in whatever way suits our style. Then we can be God fearing or firm in the faith even in prison.

Readings are from Exodus 1 - the story of the midwives and a people who refused to stop having children even under persecution AND from 2 Timothy 2.

Welcome to this week's podcast. It's been a week full of teams meetings. Yup - a lot of them.

But in the week I have been considering perseverance and diligence I guess. Reflecting on Paul, on dress codes and the amount of service given by faithful people. But dare I say it - there is nothing new under the sun.
