Prayer: Hate Tries to Destroy, But Love Endures is a morning devotional founded on 1 Corinthians 13:4–7 from the New Living Translation. Known as part of the Bible’s great “love chapter,” these verses reveal the very character of God: patient, kind, merciful, faithful, hopeful, and enduring. God does not keep a record of our wrongs, abandon us in our failures, or give up when we fall short. Instead, He patiently calls us to repentance, forgives us, and continues to love us.As believers, we are called to demonstrate that same enduring love. The closer we get to our God-given goals, the greater the obstacles may become. Hate will attempt to discourage, distract, and destroy us, but it can only win when we surrender. Love never gives up, never loses faith, remains hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. When doubt arises and the battle becomes difficult, we must remember that the God who brought us this far will not abandon us now. Hate may try to destroy, but through faith, hope, and the unfailing love of God, we will endure to the end and receive every promise He has prepared for us.
