In this episode, we highlight two folks who helped organize a gathering for people of color and allies of the black community a few weeks back at RHS, Eddy and Luis Chacon. These two brothers share their wisdom and philosophy in regards to the protesting and the larger issue that is police brutality. They remind us of the power of gathering and community especially in these times. We also touch on anti-blackness that exists within our own culture and the unlearning that comes with it.
We talk about how to heal and facilitate those tough conversations around #BLM with close friends and family. Join us in this hour-long conversation and excuse the audio quality. We promise to address this issue moving forward!
