In our third episode, we discuss the drug that is social media and the way it has been designed to keep you tied to it. We express the harmful effects that social media has on our daily life and what you can do to be more intentional with your social media usage. Monica shares the lessons she has learnt from her social media break and how it has benefited her life.
Some of our advice includes deleting social media apps that harm your self esteem and create feelings of comparison, muting and unfollowing people on social media, using app limits and downtime, swapping morning Instagram scrolling for an online course or activity and dedicating real time to friendships not just by commenting on their posts but by spending undivided time with them.
