  • In My Room - Version
Seemed appropriate since I'm spending so much time in My Room recovering from a recent accident. Picture reflects the view from my Bedroom Window. Always wanted to do a version of this Classic anyway.... So, the timing seems right? Not intended as a cover per se. More a 'sketch' in my own interpretative way with total respect to Brian Wilson and The Beach Boys beautiful Original. Hopefully, Listeners might appreciate the AcoustaTronic sound and style I was shooting for here in some way? If not, please forgive me or just ignore it. Thanks!

  • AcoustAmazing Grace - TRAD AcoustaTronic ReMix Version
AcoustaTronic Version of a Trad Classic Tune. This song has reduced me to tears on more than a few occasions.... Bittersweet tears of sadness, resolve and joy. My favorite versions of it are on Bagpipes.......incredible! Since I don't own nor play Bagpipes, I threw everything else, including my heart and soul into it. Hope it brings some Peace and Comfort, whatever your beliefs may or may not be. What inspires me may not inspire others, but I just attempt to share and do my best. As always, genuine thanks for listening and/or commenting. Hope you enjoy! :D

  • Kinda' Love © - Original Master
    Kinda’ Love - Original ©
    Riff Beach - RiffWerx 2016
    He asked if she would.....
Pour her heart into his empty cup
Filled with her very best intentions
There was no need to stir it up
    He promised to sip slowly
Only paused a bit to think
    Well....You know what, Sweetheart ?
That makes for one fine Drink
    Chorus
Please pour me another cup ?
…….and don’t leave one thing out
Honey, what’s a man to do?
    There’s no reason to doubt
When you Fill Me Full of You
When you Fill Me Full of You
When you Fill Me Full of You
She said, “Let’s drink to the good times
Let’s toast the warm and setting sun
    Today sure seemed a dream
    Hope tomorrow brings another one”
    Bridge
    They hugged as they walked
    Looking eye to eye
    Framed like shooting stars
    Against the dark blue sky
    Clouds faded one by one
As they bathed in golden moon
    Sadness tasted somewhat of fun
Never stayed nor left too soon

  • On Such A Fine And Sunny Day © - Original
I don't write 'Story Songs' very often. This one's a deadly serious fictional tune that's likely way too close to realities that we all have, sadly, encountered in some form. If you've ever lost someone firsthand - a loved one, friend, or just watching or reading about these tragedies that occur all too frequently each and every minute of the day - you understand. Choose Life. Seek Help. Don't Give Up! If you know of anyone dealing with suicidal thoughts and tendencies or depression, intervene or help them find qualified community and/or medical assistance. Prayers and thoughts for all who know or have lost anyone this way. www.crisistextline.org/textline/?gcl…QgoaQodyLYCwA
On Such A Fine And Sunny Day © - Original
    Riff Beach - RiffWerx 2016
Found alone in what we thought was his happy home
We wondered how things ever got this way?
Pills helped him through the pain, the snow and the rain
Dark days could change his talk to shout
That must have helped to ease his blues on out….
We later discovered exactly the kinda’ life he led
The day Doc retrieved a bullet from his head
Bloodied and slumped across his desk
Why Lord, he left one great big mess
On such a fine and sunny day
    Chorus
He sure seemed older than thirty-three
Yet, acted younger than he appeared to be
Lifelong dreams and big, bright plans
Well, they all slid right through his hands
As we learned - one fine and sunny day
    Bridge
You see - Sonny - became his self-appointed name
For that his parents took no blame
Nor, for the darkness that dwelled within
That had clouded his life way back when
He was but a young boy then
Sonny was quiet, never much to say
Maybe, a reason for what happened that sad day?
When Sonny decided to go astray
To another place so far away
On such a fine and sunny day………..
    (Back to Chorus and Out)

  • Since Feeling Is First - Interpretation
Ever my Favorite Poet and a most, most interesting person to me since learning about him during my childhood, I have always loved ' ee cummings '. That is primarily how he always wrote his name - all lower case. Loved his renegade, Pirate soul and mis-Use of letters and words - violating every known rule of the english language to formulate incredible poetry, stories, ideas, etc... So, I thought, "why not interpret a poem of his that I like - among the many?" Here is my first run at one...........
    Since Feeling Is First
    by ee cummings
    since feeling is first
    who pays any attention
    to the syntax of things
    will never wholly kiss you
    wholly to be a fool
while Spring is in the world
    my blood approves
and kisses are a better fate
    than wisdom
lady i swear by all flowers.
    Don't cry
the best gesture of my brain is less than
    your eyelids' flutter which says
we are for each other: then
laugh leaning back in my arms
    for life's not a paragraph
and death i think is no parenthesis
