There are dependent people and there are independent people. In our culture, we think that independence is the better way to be…this whole mindset leaves us thinking that we should first try to do things by ourselves before asking for help. Unfortunately, this might mean missing out on spending time with someone. It might also mean that you struggle alone and get more bitter and resentful than you need to…It might be good for you to remind yourself that dependency can be positive.”

We will explore how we can make being dependent on others a positive - on both accounts!

This was an amazing story on how we can use very practical information to be better humans and more mindfully present and connected to our moments. Cory has an incredible definition of PRESENCE - “[Presence] is more than simply being aware of the moment; it’s bringing our full selves into the moment, and the fullness of the moment to ourselves.”
