What do Rima, low self-esteem and nervous laughing have in common?
This episode is all about SHAME. It's dedicated to all of us who have fallen in the battle of shame over the years, whether that's shame for our looks, shame for our sexuality, shame for our background, shame for our dreams, shame for our actions...
Rima's details:
This year feels like I am a bit out of breath from all the healing I've had to do. Anyone in the same boat?
If you're thinking "That's not me. I don't have anything to heal", then this episode is not really for you. But it might be if you want to learn about healing, and maybe then reconsider where you stand on the healing journey.
When it comes to pain, we all have a desire to just get past it. We're wired to want this! And in an attempt to just get through it some of us suppress pain, others are in the denial period they have any pain at all, others just push through and take on a bunch of practices as a way to fasten the process.
Most of us haven't been raised to know how to heal, and how to do it kindly.
So in this episode more about how healing happens, what it involves, aspects to consider about pain, how to go about healing and many more things. If you'd like to dive more with me on this topic and have an introspective process with your own pain, I invite you to be my virtual guest.
Sit with me, reflect with me and heal with me, dear human.
Also, let me know how it's going for you.

Hello, RIMARKABLE HUMAN!
So in my search for someone, I could discuss this topic with I came across Anima. Anima is a media artist and 2 times business owner, currently, she owns a small values-first PR Agency named The Sophisticated Geek, and Vitruvian Vision- an NGO challenging the idea of what we should teach young people as they grow up. Anima's story stood out through the resilience she has in navigating different industries, such as tech, art, business and media with a disability. Upon my first interaction, I felt there's a certain depth that I wanted to have a window into, and luckily, Anima accepted to have a discussion with me.
A symptom we have before we pursue something big is fear. It can haunt us and leave us frozen. Soon enough we go round and round over all the reasons why it can go wrong, what are the risks involved, and before we even know it, we talk ourselves out of them.
If you're a busy bee running around with a never-ending to-do list (like myself), then this one's for you.

Hi there, human!
You can find:
In this episode, I reflect on the "self-growth and betterment" culture and how that can become unhealthy in coming to peace with our flaws and our wounds. I explore the "hiding under the rug" phenomenon and discuss how we often fall prey to the never-ending betterment and healing cycle that makes us lose sight that life happens now, as we go.
How many times a day do you Google to answer your daily questions? How many times have you googled your symptoms? How many times have you struggled with something profoundly emotional or psychological and have found your ultimate solutions on google?
In this episode, I explore more of why many times actually Google isn't the solution to our problems and how, in fact, it can help us get stuck in an unpleasant cycle for longer.
