Have you ever experienced rejection in your life? Maybe it was a rejection letter from a school you wanted to attend or a job you were really hoping to get! Maybe it was even rejection from someone you wanted a relationship with. When we read through the Gospels, we can see that Jesus never rejected anyone who came to him. When we read the New Testament, we can see the Pharisees getting upset with Jesus quite a bit. They were waiting for the coming messiah and the law had given them clues to look for that would point to him. As soon as Jesus came and fulfilled these signs, the Pharisees denied him. They couldn’t see the truth right in front of them. The truth is that Jesus is God, and he came as the Messiah that they read about. Whenever we read something in the Bible there is always a deeper level! When we read about Jesus cleansing a man of leprosy there is an amazing parallel between the disease of leprosy and that of Sin. Sin is the worst disease we can suffer from. It has killed us spiritually and has nothing good to offer us. In today’s message, Pastor Dan will be sharing the amazing news that Jesus came to deal with Sin once and for all! Because of what Jesus did on the cross we can all be healed of the sickness of Sin! 

There are many people who say that they believe in God or that they go to church. Sometimes these people think that being a “good” person and going to church will be enough for them to get into heaven. In today’s message, Pastor Dan will be sharing the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus made a way so that we could know God personally, as a friend and a father. Knowing who Jesus is and believing in his death, burial, and resurrection is the only way we can be saved.

Some people have misunderstood some of Jesus’ teachings and made it seem like God is a genie and will give us whatever we want. In most American Cultures, people are fixated on the results. There is a strong sense of pride in doing a work project well, or finally accomplishing your financial goals. When it comes to evangelizing and telling people about Jesus we have to remember that the results aren’t up to us! We are only responsible for sharing the message, it’s God's responsibility to change a heart!

Have you ever met a fellow believer and noticed a clear Sin in their life? Sometimes we can get really judgmental and start thinking or even talking about them in a negative way. In today’s message, Pastor Dan will be sharing about how we should judge people. The Bible says that we are to evaluate ourselves and our sins before we come at other people. The main motivation for pointing out a sin in someone's life should never be to shame them. Rather we should be calling each other up to a higher standard. 

You already know you can't serve God and money, but do you surrender your daily latte to God's direction? Do you use your fancy car to bring food to the elderly or to take you to the football game? What makes you more angry, when someone injures a child, or when someone scratches the paint on your car? All of these things show a lot about who you truly serve. Jesus has a lot to say about where your treasure is, and in today's message, Pastor Dan is going to share it with you!

What's the safest investment these days? Stocks? Bonds? Burying all your money in the backyard, or hiding it under your mattress? Maybe it's investing in gold!
