Saul Alvarez successfully defended his WBA and WBC middleweight titles last night in Las Vegas and picked up the IBF middleweight title from Daniel Jacobs. The fight was a very tactical affair but Alvarez just seemed to do a bit more in each of the rounds. Although Jacobs staged a mini rally later in the fight, as Alvarez appeared to slow down, it just wasn't enough and he ended up coming short at the the end of the day when the scorecards were announced.

Andy Ruiz and his team have agreed to everything in the contract. Ruiz is now set to be announced as the next opponent of Anthony Joshua.

Robert Easter and Rances Barthelemy squared off last night for the vacant WBA Regular World Title last night Las Vegas. The fight was more or less a very tactical fight to say the least in which neither man really decided to take the lead. Both men seemed content with trying to set traps for each other all night with nether man taking the bait. At the end of the day in fight that was extremely hard to score the matchup ended in an uneventful draw.

GGG shocked everyone this week when he announced that he will split from Abel Sanchez. Sanchez did not take kindly to the split. We'll tell you all about it. Luis Ortiz has turned down a reported 5 million dollar offer to face Anthony Joshua. Ortiz career high payday was 500k.

Although Khan had a few decent moments, Terence Crawford clearly showed his dominance in their fight this past Saturday night in New York at the Madison Square Garden. Crawford who was making the second defense of his WBO welterweight title wasted no time as he knocked Khan down in the first round with a counter right hand.

After failing a VADA PED test Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller was denied a boxing license by the NYSAC and will no longer be fighting the unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
