As women in our culture, we are habituated to this idea that we can’t say no, that we always need to be smiling, that we always need to make everyone around us comfortable, usually at the expense of our own comfort. And, very often, sadly, and unfortunately at the expense of our dreams. I know it’s not easy. I know it’s very difficult. I’ve walked this path and I continue to walk this path.

When you’re thinking about doing something, when you’re thinking about taking a risk and you feel fear, do you use that as an indicator that because you’re afraid, because you’re unsettled, because you’re agitated, that you should go a different direction? Or that you should not do that thing?

In this one, we’re going to talk about the surprising cure for anxiety. I believe at the core of everything we do, even more than wanting to be happy, we really want to be at peace. We were created to live in peace.

In order for women to rise to their rightful place of influence in the world, to be able to have, be, and do all that they desire, to have their dreams come true, to have blissful relationships, to discover their most authentic self, and really self-actualize into the women that will provide the solutions that the world needs, they do, we do need to heal.

In this episode I am going to, again, invite you into a Rise to Reign live session where we are really going to unpack this problem of blame and how it shows up and how sneaky it is. And you’re going to get to hear me go through a real-life example with a participant in how this is showing up in her life.

In this episode, we are going to talk about how you move out of your natural state of righteousness, peace and joy, and, more importantly, how to get back there and how to stay there. We talked in episode number two about how women are absolutely stressed, overwhelmed, and exhausted. This is obviously a problem for individual women’s lives, their quality of life, their level of joy, their level of fulfillment.
