People living near a Perris family had no idea something terrible was going on right in front of them, in their own neighborhood.  Deputies arrested a couple for allegedly torturing their 13 kids, who were found living in deplorable conditions, some of whom were found chained to beds in their home!  One sociologist says he can see how most -- if not all -- of the family's neighbors were totally clueless and unaware of what was happening.  Huge scare in Hawaii over the weekend, when someone mistakenly sent out an alert about an incoming missile!  Could California make such a mistake?!?  The erroneous nuclear attack warning has got people thinking about building or buying bomb shelters.
