In the last days there will be many who depart from the faith. Just like there were five wise virgins and five foolish there is one thing that will keep us moving forward—that is a heart of preparation. We must never allow ourselves to fall into a place of complacency and lose our oil when God has called us to live a radical and impactful life of devotion.

God revealed Himself to Abraham as Adonai. It’s a name that points to the fact God is Master and Lord. Just like the Centurion acknowledged authority, when we acknowledge Him as our Lord and Master we can have confidence that what He says goes in our life. This is a place of security and confidence that He alone is responsible for the results.

There was a moment when the Lord tested His lordship in Abraham’s life and called him to sacrifice his only son of promise. In that moment when Abraham answered God’s Lordship with faith and obedience it was in that place He also came to know Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who sees and provides.

The last days are upon us and as we experience the greatest harvest of souls known to man, there will also be a great falling away. What do we do to stay rooted and connected to Him? We must realize that we are partakers of His divine nature.

Many times we fall into the trap of thinking we have to earn things from our Father but by faith as we stay in communion and fellowship as a child of God we are able to partake of everything that pertains to life and godliness .

“But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

‭‭II Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When we grow in our faith by intentionally adding to…we will be neither barren nor unfruitful in our walk with Christ.

The Lord has chosen to reveal Himself to us by various names—one of those was El Shaddai. Each name comes from a personal revelation of an aspect of God’s character. The Lord revealed Himself to as the God of more than enough. We don’t just serve a God of more than enough when it comes to financial blessings, He is also the God of more than enough for our healing, deliverance, salvation & everything else we have need of. The Lord has made us more than Conquerors and given us everything that pertains to life and godliness. If there’s any area that seems to be lacking, we must come to a place of deeper revelation of who God is and how to steward the manifold blessings He has purchased.

Throughout history God has chosen to reveal Himself to His creation through various covenant names. From the beginning of time God revealed Himself as Elohim, the Almighty Creator and Righteous Judge and Yahweh the self existent one. One day all of creation will stand in judgment before their Creator. If there is anything in your life that doesn’t align with God’s perfect plan for your life you can believe Him for creation and restoration of all things because He created you for His Glory.

Sin is missing the mark but God’s intent for your life is that you would hit the target every time. The enemy will entice you with sin so that he has license to steal, kill, and destroy you. The only recourse we have is the light God has placed in you by means of Holy Spirit. We exercise our authority by the Word of God as we deliberately choose to walk in His holiness and truth.
