There are certain moments in our life where something happens and there is a turning point that changes the trajectory of our path. What if today was one of those for you?

Jesus talks about the Kingdom of God more than anything. He talks about the Kingdom of God coming to earth...but what does that look like? We may think we know what the Kingdom of God is, but we may be thinking about it all wrong.
As American Christians, we can very easily DRIFT into apathy. We can get distracted and lose our focus that should be set on God and continually moving closer to Him. So how do we combat this apathy and move closer to God?
After Jesus raises from the grave, he gives his disciples a mission to spread his name to the ends of the earth and then ascends to Heaven. This is the beginnings of the Christian Church. The question is, what can we learn from this early church?
In our time at 30,000 feet we have seen God trying to bring us back to Him. This week, with His son Jesus coming to earth, we see his ultimate plan take shape. Alongside Jesus coming to die for us, he also came to live as an example for us.
Coming back from captivity, the Israelites had one thing on their mind: Making Jerusalem look good on the outside again. The problem was that they were not as concerned about following God.
As we continue on in our series of looking at the Bible from 30,000 feet, we come to the place where the Israelites are taken into captivity by Babylon. We will see some God’s temple destroyed, meet a guy named Daniel, and take a look at the prophetic dreams of a man named Ezekiel. Don’t miss this pivotal week in the story of the God as we start to hear about the coming king that will rule forever.
This week we are looking at the part of God's story where the Kingdom of Israel is split and the kings of both struggle to follow God, and in turn the people they lead struggle to do the same.
