The Monegasque government is organising a special information session for anyone in the principality involved in the day-to-day running of a not-for-profit association or charitable foundation. The conference, next Wednesday, will provide an important update on recent changes to the laws governing associations in Monaco. The new regulations have been introduced to ensure that the principality meets international requirements on areas such as money-laundering. If you're involved in a Monegasque association, attendance is strongly encouraged. The conference, chaired by Monaco's interior minister, will be held at 6pm on Wednesday 20th September at the Rainier III Auditorium. Attendance must be confirmed in advance by emailing [email protected]
And as part of the year-long commemorations of the centenary of Prince Rainier III, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra is putting on two special chamber music concerts this Sunday and next.
Music from Mozart and Lili Boulanger are on the agenda this Sunday at 3pm in the Salle Garnier at Monte Carlo opera house, while next Sunday's concert in the Grimaldi Forum at 6pm celebrates the work of Mahler and Polish composer Andrzej Panufnik.
