Every day, thousands of people come to Monaco - to work. And the principality has just passed the milestone of 60,000 people working in the private sector for the first time. But the 6,000 private companies in Monaco still have lots of job opportunities that need to be filled. So, on Friday 15th September, the Monegasque government is organising a jobs fair - Monaco pour l'Emploi - at the Grimaldi Forum. It's an opportunity for potential jobseekers to meet recruiters (and vice versa) and match the right people to the right jobs.

As you'd expect, there's a broad range of jobs on offer in Monaco - everything from finance, accounting and insurance to digital technologies, yachting, catering, and construction. Monaco for Employment (Monaco Pour l'Emploi) is taking place on 15th September, at the Grimaldi Forum, from 9am to 6pm and entry is free. And, after all the tennis action at the Monte Carlo Masters earlier this summer, it's time to enjoy another special tennis event here in the prinicipality later this month. The best tennis players from Monaco and Ecuador will face each other in a series of group 2 World Davis Cup matches on 15th and 16th September, with both countries vying for a place in the group 1 play-offs next February. There'll be singles matches on Friday 15th from 11am -- and singles and a doubles match on Saturday 16th, again from 11am. It's open to the public to enjoy at the Monte-Carlo Country Club on both days -- or you can watch the action live on Monaco Info, which you'll find on channel 8 of the Monaco Telecom Box.
