The great summer exhibition of the Grimaldi Forum Monet in full light has been a huge success and full since it opened to the public. Bringing together a hundred paintings from all over the world, it traces the work of Monet and explores the artist's stays on the Riviera at a pivotal moment in his life. The course, punctuated by masterpieces rarely presented together - and an unpublished one -, offers a new approach to the work of the Master and invites to approach his work differently.
The exhibition ends on September 3rd it is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and until 10pm on Thursdays. It’s at the Espace Ravel of the Grimaldi Forum Monaco 10, avenue Princesse Grace - 98000 Monaco. Full price: €14 (FREE for children under 18)

A reminder however that due to the annual launch of the UEFA European club football season at the Grimaldi Forum, access to the Monet exhibition on Thursday August 31 will be via the administrative reception (under the giant screen). As a large influx of visitors is expected both at the Grimaldi Forum car park and at the exhibition, we invite you to anticipate your trip or postpone it to another day. Exceptionally, there will be no night opening this Thursday, August 31, and the last ticket sales will be at 6 p.m.
Tickets already purchased for this day remain valid for the other days of the exhibition (before and after). An additional night is scheduled for Friday, September 1.
Also in this week’s Monaco Update - The Department of Education, Youth and Sport, which is responsible for implementing the Prince’s Government’s public education policy and maintaining oversight of private schools, strives to provide an exceptional school system in the Principality. This is an investment which is paying off, with pass rates for the baccalaureate and BTS examinations exceeding 95% every year.
Monaco’s education system is based on the curricula used by the French national system, with some specific features of its own: a more intensive English-language programme taught from nursery school through to the final year of secondary; a “French as a foreign language” programme to facilitate the integration of non-French-speaking pupils; a programme that promotes reading and cultural education; teaching of the Monegasque language and the history of Monaco to promote the national culture; and a stronger sports component (physical education and swimming classes are part of the timetable for even the youngest pupils, well-developed facilities are available, specially adapted timetables can be arranged to accommodate sports training, etc.).
