Hussein Khan started his career as Actor in a film called Vanchit. The film was telecast on National Doordarshan in the same year. Till 1999 has worked in many television serial and programs.Started his career as Writer Producer Director in 1999 with a show called Kabhi Hum Khoubsoorat Thai . Got trained in the technical part of the filmmaking in 2000. Started Kashmir's first television channel and make hundreds of programs of entertainment, news grievance, current affairs infotainment, sports, music,brought in the concept of visual advertisement in Kashmir . was awarded as best program Director by siti entertainment network in 2007,shifted his focus towards film making since 2008 and produced directed many music albums, documentaries, shows and television programs for national and international audience .got awarded for contribution toward the field by infotel in 2013 .working on a Feature film Kashmir Daily in 2013-16. Hussein Khan was awarded for his outstanding contribution in the field of Film Making by Youth Peace Award 2017.and was awarded 2nd Time by Infotel for contribution toward the field of film making in 2018. Hussein Khan has completed his next project a feature film titled FATHER in 2018 as associate director producer actor and writer also worked in Lihaap, Code Blue, Oxygen,Carawan,2band radio, LINES, Angeethi as Actor and is also associate producer of 2band radio, Angeethi, Lines Had also directed the film Lines. Hussein Khan is on his next project as Actor writer director titled Shinakth. And 7 more projects in 2019.

As a young achiever with experience in technology distribution and emerging markets Khalid has worked across markets of Africa, Middle East , India and South East Asia and was one of the youngest directors at Western Digital and is considered to be one of the leading voices in the areas of technology distribution, data science &  emerging markets. 

Khalid has earned several recognitions for his incisive business insights and outcomes,  besides writing for various publications he was also recently featured on Forbes India and has been featured in leading national and international publications for his work in emerging markets. His work around his areas of interest which are Data science, Inspirational leadership, and especially working with the student community to prepare them for the future in large organizations  has seen him work around the globe with various institutions and organizations and deliver many interesting sessions, 

Khalid is also a visiting faculty at National Institute of Technology in Srinagar & serves as an Advisor to the NIT  Industry interaction interface and has worked with leading institutions like University of Kashmir , IIT , IIFT , Amity business school , TA PAI Management Institute , University of Sharjah and many others on areas of Soft skill development & how the youth can get themselves industry-ready.

Khalid started JKFED  ( Jammu Kashmir forum for Entrepreneur Development ) a pro-bono platform that helps the Youth in J&K to engage with an industry leader to helps them in areas such as career development, consulting, entrepreneur development. 

Khalid considers himself a complete motorhead and loves spending time with his car and his motorcycles and loves driving & riding in the mountains, loves to travel has been to around 45 countries.
