The National Blind Tenpin Bowling Association’s event of the year – the National Finals – is fast approaching. Kris Wallace has been chatting to their chairman John Hoey to find out what goes on at the event…and how blind and partially sighted people can form their own teams to join the league.

RNIB recently launched their Need To Talk project, a new counselling service for those undergoing sight loss and living in rural areas.

Funds from the European Union mean that this new service will operate jointly in Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland & the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
